Incentive fee
According to the Ordinance on Fees for Incentivizing Electricity Production from Renewable Energy Sources and Cogeneration (Official Gazette 33/2007), that was passed by the Government of Republic of Croatia, the incentive fee is collected from all electricity customers in Croatia starting from 1 July 2007.
All electricity customers shall pay the incentive fee for electricity production from renewable energy sources and cogeneration through usual electricity payments in money order besides other fees from their suppliers.
According to the Ordinance on Fees for Incentivizing Electricity Production from Renewable Energy Sources and Cogeneration (Official Gazette 128/2013) the incentive fee is 0.035 per kilowatt-hour (kn/kWh), with exemption of the electricity customers who are obliged for granting the CO2 emissions allowances and the incentive fee is 0.005 per kilowatt-hour (kn/kWh).
